Why You Should Be Using Garden Shed Plans
Unbelievably, there are lots of people nowadays, that try to "save money" on garden shed plans, and are looking for free alternatives. However, I have bad news for you, because if you managed to find some free shed plans somewhere on the Internet, they will be very broad, confusing and therefore useless to you.
I might surprise you, but chances are that you won't find anything detailed enough to even build the base of your shed. In the best case, you will probably find some random threads from DIY woodworking forums, but I can say with 99% assurance, they will be VERY broad.
The moral is, there's a reason why they are free. Essentially, you get what you pay for, and since you don't pay anything, then don't expect much. On the other hand, there are still very affordable detailed garden shed plans sold online. You just have to be careful not to waste your money on the scams.
So if I get asked how to build a shed, instead of going into details and starting to explain all the stuff, I simply recommend one of those guides. Lately, I've been a big fan of Ryan Henderson's manual called MyShedPlans. You might as well want to check it out.
Personally, I would also suggest you not to follow the crowd and purchase everything from hardware stores. Instead you could try searching for shed materials on the Internet. There are lots of different online shops, which offer excellent prices compared to local DIY stores. It's a great way to save cash without leaving your home!
When you get started with your shed project, carefully follow all the instructions in the garden shed plans, and implement accordingly. Even if it takes you a few weeks to finish everything, take your time and don't rush. It's better to spend a bit more time doing it properly, rather than do it in 2 days and end up with something you won't be happy with.
If you are still looking for quality garden shed plans, then you should check out MyShedPlans.
