Choosing A Bathroom Mirror
Bathroom mirrors can really be the pinnacle of bathroom design. They are the centrepiece of most bathroom furniture, so your choice in a mirror will be very important. They are not only important for looks but also for functionality. Just think, the mirror in the bathroom is the last place you look before leaving the house. They are where you groom yourself when shaving or applying make up. There are different types of bathroom mirrors and choosing the right one is essential.
The bathroom mirror you decide upon will depend on the space in your bathroom. You may have a small bathroom in which case you may want to try and find a mirror that won't over shadow the rest of your bathroom but still create space. And if you have a large room you wont want your mirror to look lost in the room.
A wall mounted mirror will create space in the room. Especially if you have a large one that covers most the room. There is something about a mirror in the bathroom that completes it. Imagine a bathroom without a mirror that is steamed up. It just isn't complete. Large wall mounted mirrors are the classic type of bathroom mirror and come in many different shapes and sizes.
Bracketed mirrors are more about function but can still look very classy in a bathroom and can often be coupled with large wall mounted mirrors. Bracketed mirrors twist and move from side to side and are great for personal grooming. They can have illumination options which also adds to the style. There will be a few different shapes and sizes to choose from and it will all depend on the overall design of your bathroom furniture. You may decide to have an circle type shape, or a more square type mirror on the bracket.
Free standing mirrors are the other end of the spectrum from wall mounted mirrors. They stand free and look best above the taps. They will usually be pretty small but the designs are varied. From square to complete circle, this will depend on the rest of your bathroom furniture.
You will simply need to take into consideration the size and style of your bathroom and then go ahead and short list a few different styles of bathroom mirror.
