Several Why Your Interior Decorator Will Always Recommend Natural Flooring
Has your interior designer suggested hiring a Canadian flooring company to install wood or tile in your house? If that is so she has probably done so for one or two differing reasons. One could be because new flooring would work well with the design you are making together. But a larger reason might be because when it comes to rocketing a home's value natural floor coverings like ceramic tile, stone and wood can do exactly that – increase the value of your house.
Of course, the 1st question you could ask your interior designer would be whether or not carpet could be used as an alternative. After all , carpet is easier on the feet, is warmer, and if done properly can look just as sweet as wood and tile. But the answer to that'd be no – while carpeting is sweet, it won't increase the value of your home. Why not? Because house purchasers want to select their own carpet, and nine times out of 10, they'll rip out existing carpet and substitute it with their choice anyhow. Home reviewers know this, and so don't allot any additional value to a home when it has new carpeting.
But guess what? Both wood and tile can be as warm as carpet, so long as the right design elements get utilized. For example, hardwood surfaces can look more attractive ( not to discussed be warmed and softened ) by thick, plush area rugs. And there are masses of decisions when it comes to area rugs – it is easy to get rugs in just as many colors, patterns, designs and fibers as carpet comes in.
The same is right for tile and stone flooring – an area rug can go a ways toward making them feel just as warm and soft as a carpeted floor would, while protecting the increased value of your home.
With tile and stone, you also have the option of heated flooring. There are 3 ways to heat floors – electrical, water and air – with the commonest being water. With this design element, plastic or metal pipes are laid inside a floor, close to the surface. Hot water is then run thru the pipes, warming the floors. This particular design component also increases the value of a home. Therefore if your interior designer has advised new floor coverings of either wood or stone, give it some significant thought.
Wood and stone flooring not only increase the value of your house, but with the design elements we've mentioned, can be just as warm and inviting on the feet the way carpets can.
