Outdoor parties are very popular during summer vacations as well as for family night outs. During these occasions, barbeque is one dish that is always present. A lot of people love eating and cooking barbeque. Grilling and barbequing are activities that can be enjoyed by the family; with the use of charcoal grills, you can enjoy the best grilled food and the best outdoor barbeque party with your love ones and friends.
Among the various types of grills being sold in the market, the most common and often used is the charcoal grill. It is much cheaper compared to other grills and it is also very practical to use especially when planning for an outdoor barbeque party because it is more portable compared to gas grills. The charcoal grill is used by applying heat directly from below, and as the name suggests it uses charcoal briquettes or other all-natural lump charcoal as fuel source which when burned transforms into embers that radiates heat. One reason why lots of people prefer to use this type of grill is because it adds a natural taste to grilled food which makes the barbeque tastier.
There are different types of charcoal grill available in the market. These are used for different purposes and can used in different places like at home, at the beach, or even when having a barbeque party on a friend's house. Charcoal grill is divided into four general types. The fist one is the kettle style which has a dome lid used in keeping the heat and controlling the temperature and airflow while grilling. Among the four types it is considered the most popular.
Secondly, we have the hibachi which is a griller widely popular in Japan. This literally means "fire bowl" and is usually made of a wooden bowl lined with baked clay. It is smaller than the kettle style and has an adjustable grill which can be raised higher or lower and. The third type of charcoal grill is the tabletop which is used to grill small portions of meat. They are the most popular travellers due to their small size and portability. Lastly, we have the charcoal grills with gas tanks. Like the gas grills, this has a gas tank attached to it but this tank is smaller than the usual ones seen n gas grills. Enough fuel is supplied by the tank which makes lighting the charcoal easier.
Using charcoal grills have many advantages. One of its most loved advantages is the char-grilled taste it gives to dishes. It is the most sought after techniques used to achieve juicy smoked meat while retaining the juice of the meat. Meat grilled in this type of griller also has a distinct smoky feel to it which connoisseurs feel can never be found in meat cooked on gas grills. As already mentioned earlier, meat cooks slowly in charcoal grills which cause the fat in the food to liquefy and get separated from the meat, hence getting rid of excess fat and calories. Nutrients like proteins, vitamins and minerals present in the meat also remain intact making the end product much more nutritious. Lastly, this type of grill also a lot cheaper than gas grills, making it possible for anyone to afford the luxury of freshly grilled food and are portable and easier to carry as compared to the other types.
Choosing the perfect charcoal grill for you is not a very difficult task and the only thing to remember is to consider your lifestyle. Select the charcoal that best suit your needs and lifestyle, and you will never go wrong.
