Still An Excellent Item – Battery Powered Lawn Edger Review
I was concerned an electric edger wouldn't have the power to handle it, but there was more than enough power. The unit is very quiet too. Just point and start! This edger probably works find for light work in sandy soils. I was actually a little intimidated by its power, being electric and all! Like other reviewers said, the first time will take a while. So I've got to stay on top of my yard if I don't want a "nasty-gram" from the lady who drives around and makes sure that all the grass is mowed and the shutters are painted. The B&D Edge hog and the replacement blades are a breeze to use. As they say "the right tool makes the job easier". The Edge Hog was very easy to assembly and adjust. Appears very durable and easy to maintain. Does a professional job.
I highly recommend it. And my property looks wonderful. I recommend buying extra blades when you purchase one, you will soon need them. Been using the attachment weed eater edger.
It now has so little power it's useless. I'm shopping for another model now.
He said that this Lawn Edge Hog is much lighter than the gas powered weed eater and would recommend it to anyone! Unless you just have to have a gasoline edger for whatever reasons, save your money and get this Edge Hog instead. Swept the debris again. Then with the edge guide lowered, repeated it with 1-1/4" depth, and again with 1-1/2" depth. The list price on Amazon is a little ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I love Amazon and you can get some great deals but always remember to shop around for the good price.
This new model is a great improvement over the previous models. It is quiet and more versatile – being able to trench and cut on a bevel.
Edger deceased after twenty moderate yards. Buy local, and better yet, buy with a quick return policy such as Craftsman or Home Depot. After several days of rain the ground was still quite damp and I was eager to use my new toy instead of waiting for the ground to dry. By clogging I mean it would no longer kick out the grass and dirt it was cutting into.
It does not hold the guide as well as past products. graco glider rocker with ottoman white.
